Please note the hall rentals are completely managed by VOLUNTEERS and all proceeds go back
to the maintenance and upgrading of the hall and Heritage Society.

4 HOURS

​$ 100 + $40 Cleaning fee

Any group or individual may request, in writing, that the Chaffey’s Lock and Area Heritage Society reduce the rental fee. These requests will be addressed on a case-by-case basis. There are no rental fees for funeral/memorials under 4 hours if from the community and a member of the Chaffey’s Lock Heritage Society.
CAPACITY
Due to the size of the hall, it is recommended for smaller more intimate events.
The Chaffey's Lock Community Hall capacity is maximum of 100 people for fire regulations but capacity recommendations for different configurations and event types are noted below:        

Dance floor with a few tables around perimeter    100
Theatre style seating                                                    100
Sit down or buffet meal with tables                           65

FURNITURE & KITCHENWARE
The kitchen is equipped with an electric stove, microwave, fridge, commercial drink fridge, dishes, glassware, cutlery & serving utensils.
*You must provide your own table linens.

LICENSED EVENT
If alcohol is served, in agreement with LCBO regulations (www.agco.ca), we require PAL (Public Alcohol Insurance) and a Smart Serve ID 20 days prior to the event. See the documents below for a full list of terms and conditions and the rental contract.

This community hall is owned and operated by the Chaffey’s Lock Heritage Society and entirely run by a group of dedicated volunteers.

Security deposit of $250 required for full day bookings

If more cleaning time is required the amount will be deducted from the security deposit

  • Kitchen with stove and refrigerators, movable tables
  • Pass-through between kitchen and main Hall
  • Newly renovated accessible washrooms
  • Dedicated accessible parking in lot and on street parking
  • Stage, microphones/stands and speakers
  • WiFi, large projection screen
