Welcome to Chaffey's Lock!
Come by land or water to enjoy our lockstation's natural beauty as others have since 1822.
Bring a picnic and spend a restful afternoon watching the hand-operated lock in action or explore what our area has to offer.

Established in 1980, the Chaffey's Lock and Area Heritage Society researches, preserves and presents historical and heritage information pertaining to the area around Chaffey's Lock. To this end, the Heritage Society operates the Lockmaster's House Museum. It also owns, maintains and operates the historic Chaffey's Lock Community Hall and maintains the Chaffey's Lock Cemetery, Memory Wall, Celtic Cross and the Marian Dunn Trail.
The Heritage Society also publishes an annual newsletter and facilitates community events throughout the year to help support its programs. It encourages individuals, families and businesses to become members and sponsors to support its work in the community. |
